Company’s official standpoint in respect of the biased information on Universal Logistic’s operation in one of the Ukrainian printed media 

We kindly ask you to allot 15 minutes of your high valued time and attention to learn the exhaustive information on the unfair competition and attempt to discredit out Company.

Before going into circumstances of the question, we’d like to return thanks to all of our customers the beneficial cooperation and impartial judgement in respect of Universal Logistic’s operation. 

Situation Details and Circumstances:

Last week, a journalist of one printed media contacted Universal Logistic’s management and asked questions related to the Company’s operation.

The journalist was interested, among others, in the issue of location of the Yefremivka – Dykanka – Kyiv gas pipeline in Boryspil District, which is located at certain distance regulated by the law from different infrastructure facilities of the region and certain premises used by Universal Logistic.

Since we have previously encountered attempted manipulations based on the issue of pipeline location aimed to affect the reputation of our Company, we readily invited the journalist and provided her with the exhaustive information concerning the issue in question. 

The media representative’s interest in such issue was mistakenly perceived by us as the opportunity to finally stop the manipulations and make our position in this regard knowledgeable to the general public.

Over the years in the market, we have passed numerous inspections and verifications by various regulators, supervisory and laws enforcement authorities in view of the neighbouring location of gas transmission infrastructure facilities (according to the requirements of the currently effective applicable national laws).   

Universal Logistic has piles of expert opinions and reports confirming that we have fulfilled all requirements related to the protected area, and that our capital buildings are located at a safe distance from the gas pipeline.

We have to regrettably state that our arguments have not been reflected in the article published in the edition dated November 11.

Instead, the article obsessively and groundlessly alleges the existence of environmental threats for the community of Boryspil District due to operation of Universal Logistic. Despite easy rebutting of such assertions by experts, still, we’d like to draw the attention of the public and market players to this situation.

We’d also like to emphasise that our Company has been operating in the field of specialised pharmaceutical logistics in Ukraine for over 11 years.
